Generative AI for image editing, 3D and sales brochures

From technical drawing to sales brochure visualization: AI-assisted 3D models, renderings and FLUX image editing.

  • FLUX
  • ChatGPT image generation
  • 3D & renderings
  • €1,500 → approx. €10external cost per visualization (provider vs. API costs)
  • 20–30 hrs → < 20 mincreation time per rendering

The situation

Technical drawings show the design, but can be difficult for potential buyers to visualize in three dimensions. Sales brochures needed clear visualizations without commissioning external modeling and rendering for every design.

/02

The specific task

Turn technical concepts into compelling visualizations for prospective buyers and prepare them for sales brochures.

/03

My role

I implemented the AI-assisted workflow from technical drawing to 3D model and rendering. My contribution also included FLUX editing and quality improvements, and preparation for sales brochures.

Tools used

  • FLUX
  • ChatGPT image generation model
  • AI-assisted 3D and rendering workflows

Rollout & usage

The finished visualizations were used in sales brochures. ChatGPT image generation complemented marketing image work.

BEFORE → AFTER

Turning an idea into a compelling visual.

2 examples of my work.

From concept to exterior visualisation

House: technical elevation on the left, refined architectural visualisation on the right
Technical elevationRefined visualisation

From basic render to a finished interior

Living room: neutral render on the left, finished materials and lighting on the right
Neutral initial renderMaterials, light and atmosphere

From drawing to brochure.
Modeled, rendered and enhanced.

Example flow. Technical drawings form the starting point. I used AI to create 3D models and generate renderings, then edited them with FLUX to improve image quality. The finished visualizations were prepared for sales brochures. I also used ChatGPT's image generation model for marketing imagery.

01Technical drawing

The technical drawing provides the foundation for spatial visualization.

FROM DRAWING TO SALES BROCHURE

This system is in production use. The diagram shows the system principle in simplified form; steps and branches are examples, and internal configurations and data are not published.

The difference in daily work.

Visualizations become available sooner for marketing and sales. The comparison covers rendering creation and external expenditure: internal working time and operating costs are excluded, and the service scope is not equated with that of an external provider.

What it means in practice

Quality control & limits

Review questions for the example flow: Are perspective, proportions and details correct? Does image quality suit the output format? Are concept visualizations recognizable as such, and do depicted features match approved information?
